Meaning
Change from a liquid to a solid when cold; "Water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit".

Examples
- The water began to freeze out and turn to ice as the temperature dropped.
- If it gets too cold the radiator fluid can start to freeze out and cause serious damage.
- In the severe cold snap, the town's water supply pipes started to freeze out.
- The hoses in the yard might freeze out if you don't disconnect them before winter.
- Eventually the fuel pump began to freeze out from the condensed water inside.
