Meaning
Make volatile; cause to pass off in a vapor.
Classification

Examples
- The heat of the fire caused the liquids to volatilise and rise as a gas.
- The fuel's high heat capacity will volatilise the oil if it's not cooled properly.
- These pollutants in the water will volatilise when the solution is heated further.
- When the atmosphere was too hot, the chemicals in the container started to volatilise.
- If the process is mishandled, the substance can volatilise and evaporate completely.
