Meaning
Flow off or away gradually; "The water flowed off from the pipe".
Classification
Verbs of size, temperature change, intensifying, etc..
Examples
- The water flowed away from the faucet and into the drain.
- As the tide went out, the seawater flowed away from the beach.
- The melted ice from the top of the mountain began to flow away downstream.
- The rainwater flowed away from the roof and into the gutter system.
