Meaning
Finally be or do something; "He ended up marrying his high school sweetheart"; "he wound up being unemployed and living at home again".

Verbs of size, temperature change, intensifying, etc..

- They planned to travel the world but ended up staying in one place for years.
- She applied for several jobs but wound up working in the same company as her father.
