Do Well (Verb)
Meaning
Act in one's own or everybody's best interest; "You will do well to arrive on time tomorrow!".
Classification
Verbs of being, having, spatial relations.
Examples
- You will do well to follow your own path in life.
- They will do well to put an end to that conversation once and for all.
- You will do well to leave him alone, he can clearly take care of himself.
