Meaning
Appear in a show, on T.V. or radio; "The news won't be on tonight".
Classification
Verbs of size, temperature change, intensifying, etc..

- The new season of our favorite show won't be on tonight due to technical difficulties.
- My favorite radio DJ won't be on the airwaves this week as she's out on a well-deserved vacation.
- The big game won't be on local television, you'll have to watch it on cable instead.
