Meaning
In a satisfactory or adequate manner; "she'll do okay on her own"; "held up all right under pressure"; (`alright' is a nonstandard variant of `all right').
Examples
- She handled the situation okay despite her lack of experience.
- The new employee will learn quickly and be okay in a few weeks.
- They'll be okay on their own, don't worry about them.
- The family did okay financially after moving to the new city.
- The patient will be okay, just needs some rest and medication.
