Meaning
To or from every one of two or more (considered individually); "they received $10 each".
Examples
- Each of the winners received a trophy from the mayor with congratulations poured out to them from each one.
- They saved their earnings and contributed $1,000 from each one to buy the new basketball court.
- All participants paid their fees and made sure they signed their names from each one on the petition too.
- She distributed the souvenirs equally from each one coming from different places abroad.
