Meaning
Compare (used in texts to point the reader to another location in the text).
Examples
- The new policy has been implemented to reduce costs, cf. section 3.2 for details on the expected savings.
- The company's financial struggles are evident in the declining stock prices, cf. figure 2.1 for a graphical representation.
- The author's argument is supported by several studies, cf. appendix A for a comprehensive list of references.
- The new employee's role is similar to that of the previous employee, cf. job description on page 5 for more information.
